Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a quiet adventure that trades action for atmosphere. You play a lamplighter walking through a forest that's slowly going dark, solving small environmental puzzles to bring light back to each clearing.

The puzzles are logical and never cruel, which I loved. Hints exist but the game trusts you to figure most things out. Hand-drawn backgrounds and a soft score do a lot of heavy lifting for the mood.

It's short, maybe four hours, but it's the kind of short that feels complete. I finished it in two sittings and didn't want it padded any longer.
